Mark Pembridge, who sustained a calf strain several weeks ago, has been progressing slowly. The recent break in fixtures has allowed us to focus on his rehabilitation and we hope to have him back for the Portsmouth match of the game after.

Ian Pearce's back has been quite sore of late and he is having some injections in the lower back area in an effort to reduce the irritation and inflammation.

Stuart Noble came back from his loan spell at Northampton with a beck related hamstring strain. If everything progresses according to plan, he should be back in training within the next two to three weeks.

Dean Leacock, who has been on loan at Coventry, has returned to Fulham. He had an injection in his back similar to that of Ian Pearce in an attempt to reduce the inflammation in his lower back joints. He is progressing soundly and we expect him to go back to Coventry to finish his loan period.
