15,000 Volz

Friday 23 March 2007

On the 30th December 2006 Moritz Volz put his name in the record books by scoring the Premiership's 15,000 goal.

Volz' strike at Stamford Bridge helped earn Fulham a point against Chelsea and the German U21 international received his award at the Training Ground from Alan Perkins, who had correctly predicted that Mortiz would be the player to score the 15,000 goal.

Courtesy of Premiership sponsors Barclays, Moritz split the £15,000 donation between three charities of his choice. The Club's Community Sports Trust, Kick4Life and The Prince's Trust will all benefit from Moritz' moment of Premiership history.
