Fulham Football Club is delighted to confirm the signing of Pajtim Kasami on a 4 year deal for an undisclosed fee which will see the player at Fulham until the summer of 2015.

Kasami joins from Serie A side Palermo where he made 24 appearances for the Italian side last season.

Kasami started his career in 2003 with Swiss club Winterthur, before joining Grasshopper Zurich in 2006. He represented Switzerland for the first time at U17 level in 2009.

The highly rated 19-year-old midfielder was part of the Swiss National team that reached the final of this summer’s U21s European Championship, narrowly losing 2-0 against Spain in the final.

Martin Jol said:

"Pajtim is a young, talented midfielder who has potential, so we are very excited about signing him on a four year contract. He is a versatile midfield player who can adapt quite easily to more than one position.

"He is a key player in the Swiss U21 team. I am delighted to have been able to add two talented young players to my squad with the signing of Pajtim Kasami today, and Marcel Gecov last week, as I believe that they are going to be good additions to the squad both in the short and long term future."
