Fulham Football Club is pleased to announce that David Stockdale has signed a four-year extension that sees his contract expire with the Club in the summer of 2015.

The Goalkeeper has with immediate effect joined Ipswich Town, on a season-long loan.

Stockdale came to the fore at the start of the 10/11 campaign and produced a stunning display against Manchester United at the Cottage, which included a late penalty save, to help earn the Whites a 2-2 draw.

His performances last season against Bolton, Manchester United, Port Vale and Blackpool earned the keeper the Club's official Player of the Month award for August.

Mark Schwarzer's participation in the 2011 Asian Cup handed Stockdale further game time at the start of the New Year, and Stockdale impressed once again, playing six successive games as Fulham recorded an impressive run of four victories, one draw and one defeat, including a 4-0 rout over Spurs in the F.A Cup.
