U21s Beaten By Wolves

Monday 27 August 2012 17:26

Fulham slipped to a 2-1 defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers in their first game of the new Barclays Under-21 Development League.

In the behind-closed-doors match at Motspur Park on Bank Holiday Monday, Fulham fell behind in the 20th minute when Liam McAlinden scored.

And things got worse for the Whites just three minutes later when Wolves added a second through Kristian Kostrna.

Fulham responded in the second half and pulled a goal back on 56 minutes through Dino Islamovic.

Wolves, though, held on to take all the points from the Group Three encounter.
