There were mixed fortunes for Dan Burn and Neil Etheridge on Tuesday evening, with Yeovil Town enjoying an impressive three points, while Bristol Rovers suffered defeat.
Yeovil’s impressive 1-3 away victory at Shrewsbury Town saw them leap into the top half on the npower League One, with the Glovers sitting just five points off the Play-Off places. Burn played 90 minutes as a brace from fellow loanee Paddy Madden and a James Hayter strike saw Town earn a valuable away victory.
Bristol Rovers, too, were away from home on Tuesday night but they did not fare so well, going down by three goals to one at AFC Wimbledon. The Pirates were three goals behind with little more than half an hour gone but the damage could have been worse come the final whistle, had Etheridge not pulled off a series of decent saves.
