Wolves Await U18s

Friday 26 October 2012 13:08

Fulham’s Under-18s will look to end a run of three successive defeats when they travel to Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday (12pm).

After a fine start to the season saw the Blues win their opening four games, Steve Wigley’s charges have since slipped to losses against Liverpool, Chelsea and Crystal Palace.

Last weekend, Cauley Woodrow put Fulham in front against Palace at Motspur Park, but the Eagles pulled level on the hour mark, before snatching the winner 15 minutes from time.

Wolves are currently fifth in Group 3 of the Barclays U18s Premier League table, winning two, drawing two and losing two of their six fixtures to date. Last weekend, they drew 2-2 at home to Chelsea.

Fulham thumped Wolves 7-1 in the opening game of the new season back in August. Emerson Hyndman hit a hat-trick, with Woodrow (2), Moussa Dembele and Lyle Della Verde also on target.
