Here's the decisive goal as the young Whites were defeated by local rivals Chelsea.

Fulham Under-18s slipped to a narrow defeat at Chelsea on Saturday to cap a disappointing week of SW6 derbies.

Steve Wigley’s side certainly had chances to extend their two-game unbeaten run and their position at the top of the Barclays Under-18 Premier League Elite Group.

The hosts started brightly with Kasey Palmer rattling the Fulham crossbar early on, but the Blues were soon pushed back as the Whites began to threaten at the other end.

Moussa Dembele tested the Chelsea goal, before Emerson Hyndman saw a good chance come and go. Unfortunately, the young American blazed over from close range.

Hyndman was then denied what looked to be a certain goal moments later, with Isak Ssewankambo making an expert block.

Fulham continued to create the better chances in the second-half, with Dembele missing a golden opportunity for the Whites. The Frenchman, though, was causing problems for the Blues.

Lyle Della Verde then forced a decent save from Ben Killip, with the midfielder then almost putting Dembele through with a teasing pass from the right.

George Cole fired over a free-kick for Chelsea, before Dom Solanke saw a chance come and go as the home side wrestled back their early momentum.

They were rewarded when Solanke broke through again, with the young striker keeping his cool and slotting in a late winner.
