Fulham Football Club is delighted to be hosting a charity football match at Craven Cottage on Saturday 18th May (2pm). A mixture of ex-pros, sportsmen and celebrities will take to the field to compete for the Shooting Star CHASE Cup.

The match will raise funds for both the Fulham Football Club Foundation and the Club’s charity partner for the 2012/13 season, Shooting Star CHASE - a charity dedicated to supporting life limited children and their families.

The match will feature a Fulham All Stars team of former players, as well as a Sealand All Stars team made up of celebrities and sportsmen.

Sealand is a principality, based seven miles off the Norfolk coast. They have a recognised international football team with high profile members, such as Ed Sheeran (singer and Baron of Sealand), Ralf Little (actor and Captain of the team) and Gordon Smart (Celebrity Editor of The Sun newspaper).

The highlight of the matchday will be the introduction to the field of several children from Shooting Star CHASE who will win an ‘International Cap’ for the Principality of Sealand; a truly memorable experience.

A superb mixture of ex-professionals and celebrities have already confirmed their participation and given their time for free.

The Fulham All Stars team will include Fulham greats such as Chris Coleman, Kit Symons, Sean Davis, Rufus Brevett, Dave Beasant, Mark Pembridge, Barry Hayles, Paul Peschisolido, Andy Melville, Andrejs Stolcers, Brian Greenaway, Gordon Davies and Kevin Betsy. Massive Fulham fan Felix White, from the band The Maccabees, will also feature for the Whites.

The Sealand All Stars will include an international mix of sporting experience, ex-professional footballers, glamour and youth. Included in the team are Olympic high-jumper Dalton Grant, Great Britain Rugby League legend Brian Carney, Hugo Taylor from Made In Chelsea and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here fame. Actor Matt Di Angelo from Eastenders, Hustle and Strictly Come Dancing, Chucky Venn from Eastenders, and Oritsé Williams and JB Gill from the world famous pop band JLS will also take to the Craven Cottage pitch.

Oritsé, who recently attended the Fulham versus Arsenal game, said: "We are both [JB and I] delighted to be a part of this unique football match in aid of two worthy charities and are very much looking forward to playing at Craven Cottage. We hope to see you there!"
