Williams' Loan Deal

The Club can confirm that Ryan Williams has joined npower League Two side Gillingham on a 28-day loan deal.

The 19-year-old has made the right-wing spot his own for the Under-21s this season and he will go straight into the Gills' squad for their home game with Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday (3pm).

The Kent side currently sit second in League Two – one point behind leaders Port Vale.

Gillingham manager Martin Allen said of Williams: "He’s positive, he can open up defences, he’s fast, he’s direct and is a good player."
