The Club is delighted to confirm that Giorgos Karagounis has signed a new one-year contract with Fulham that will keep him at Craven Cottage until 30th June 2014.

After signing for the Whites in September 2012, Karagounis established himself as an important member of Martin Jol’s squad, playing 28 times and scoring twice.

His work rate and passion on the pitch made him a firm fans’ favourite, while he came second in both the Player and Goal of the Season awards last term, as voted for by supporters.

Karagounis remains an integral part of the Greece national set-up, and the central midfielder recently became their most capped player of all time.
