Fulham’s Under-21s slipped to a 2-0 defeat to an Indonesia All Stars side on Tuesday in the first game of a brief tour of the Asian country.
Kit Symons’ side will play two matches on their trip, the first of which was against Indonesia All Stars and the second of which is on Friday against Indonesia Under-19s.
Against the All Stars - a side made up of the best players in the Indonesia league - the Whites went down to a disappointing defeat in humid conditions in front of a crowd of more than 20,000 at the Maguwo Stadium in Sleman.
Symons said: “We conceded two poor goals but had several chances to score. Our best performers were Sean Kavanagh, Stephen Arthurworrey and Tom Richards.”
