With our international fanbase growing: we profile five of our European supporters’ groups.

Dutch FFC

Who and why? Having visited Craven Cottage a few seasons back, Dutch FFC Secretary Michiel Hageman and his friends were so taken with the Club’s charm that they decided to set up a supporters’ club in the Netherlands. “The atmosphere inside the historic Cottage was impressive, while the surroundings by the Thames were totally wonderful. We fell in love with the Club right away,” said Michiel. The group regularly gets together to watch matches and to discuss all things Fulham, whilst planning home and away visits to follow the Whites.

Did you know? When visiting the Cottage, Dutch FFC like to sample the pre and post-match atmosphere in the Golden Lion.

FFC Denmark

Who and why? Set up in July 2011, following the emergence of a Danish SW6 fan club on Facebook. FFC Denmark have continually grown and, as a result, have become a key group in Scandinavia. Their website features a selection of photos from their adventures following Fulham, as well as news, views and discussion.

Did you know? Danes Bjarne Goldbaek, Peter Moller, Claus Jensen, Leon Andreasen and Niclas Jensen have all represented the Whites. Lasse Vigen Christensen, who has captained Denmark at youth level, currently lines up for our Under-21s.

FFC Sweden

Who and why? The group was loosely established during the 2000/01 season, before being set up fully in 2004 by club secretary Hampus Petersson. Our Swedish following can be found all over the country, but is mostly concentrated in and around Stockholm. FFC Sweden is represented in the stands at almost every home game, and every spring they arrange an official members' trip together with fellow Scandinavian friends FFC Norway and FFC Denmark.

Did you know? One fan in Sweden has a pub in his basement called ‘the Little Golden Lion’ in honour of their favourite Fulham matchday haunt.

Italian Cottagers

Who and why? Founded by club secretary Luca Rossi in 2008, and became an official supporters group in 2010 with members made up of fans from all over Italy. “Some great friendships have been born simply from sharing a love of Fulham,” said Luca, a former Season Ticket Holder. Over the last few years they have set up an online forum to discuss all-things Fulham, with the goal of building a strong and solid community of Whites supporters in Italy.

Did you know? Following Fulham’s famous 4-1 defeat of Juventus, members of the Italian Cottagers made the front page of their national newspapers.

Fulham FC Germany

Who and why? Founded in 2011, with fans located all over Germany. Having entered its third season as an official members club, the group meet at least once a year and do their best to attend a game at the Cottage. Club secretary Guido Bahr explained: “We love the beautiful stadium, amazing atmosphere and the English style of football.”

Did you know? Bahr lost his voice for two days as a result of all the cheering he did during Fulham’s UEFA Europa League Semi-Final victory over Hamburg.
