The Club can announce that young goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli will stay at Accrington Stanley on loan for the season.
Bettinelli, who was given a squad number ahead of the 2013/14 Barclays Premier League season, was sent on an emergency one-month loan to the Sky Bet League Two side but both parties have now agreed to extend it until the end of the campaign.
The 21-year-old has already played two games for Stanley, a Capital One Cup defeat against Cardiff City last week and Saturday’s late 1-0 defeat to Burton Albion in the league where he was Man of the Match.
The son of Fulham Academy goalkeeping coach Vic, Marcus played 35 league games in a loan spell at Conference Premier side Dartford last season and has been signed as cover for Ian Dunbavin, who has been sidelined with a knee injury.
The Club would like to wish Marcus luck as he continues his development by playing regular first-team football in League Two.
