Fulham Football Club is delighted to welcome the cheerleaders for the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team THE ROAR of the Jaguars, to London for the Fulham v West Bromwich Albion game on 14th September.
As part of this visit the Club is offering aspiring junior cheerleaders the chance to win a place on the team for a day!
Girls aged between eight and 12 have a chance to join THE ROAR for a special day’s training, plus performing with them on the pitch at Craven Cottage, during half-time.
The competition, which has been sponsored by the Jacksonville tourist board, Visit Jacksonville, will see 20 lucky winners selected to be part of Junior ROAR.
The winners will each receive a coaching masterclass with members of THE ROAR, ahead of the performance on the pitch, plus a Junior ROAR t-shirt, their own set of pompoms and, of course, two tickets to the game (one adult, one child).
To win a chance of dancing with THE ROAR, the parents or guardians of aspiring cheerleaders aged 8-12 should visit www.nfluk.com/content/FulhamROAR and tell us in no more than 150 words why their child would like to dance with THE ROAR.
The best entries will be notified by Wednesday 11th September and announced on www.fulhamfc.com
Having made his fortune in the automotive industry, Shahid Khan became the driving force at Fulham in July 2013 when he took over the Club from Mohamed Al Fayed. The new owner knows what it takes to succeed in sport as he purchased NFL side Jacksonville Jaguars in 2011 and is now looking forward to pushing the Club onwards.
