The Club is delighted to announce that Fulham legend Louis Saha will be in the All Stars squad for their charity match against Sealand All Stars on Saturday 17th May (1pm).
Saha – who only retired from top level professional football in August – is delighted to be part of the fixture, stating: “I'm pleased to have the chance to play a game surrounded by nice people. I love Fulham, I love the fans, and I love the spirit. I love the idea of playing with great players from the past, all while helping a charity.”
The game will see Saha reunited with Barry Hayles and Luis Boa Morte, amongst others, bringing back memories of the trio’s juggernaut of a campaign back in 2000/01, when they scored 72 times between them as Fulham earned promotion to the top flight.
During his three and a half year stint in SW6, Saha made 144 appearances for the Whites and scored 64 times. He made a big money move to Manchester United in January 2004, before spells at Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, Sunderland and Lazio.
More names will be announced over the next few weeks – so be sure to keep checking the event page.
Tickets for the event are on sale now – in aid of raising funds for the Fulham Football Club Foundation and children's hospice Shooting Star CHASE – and are priced at £12 adults and just £5 for under-16s.
