Felix Magath will have striker Darren Bent at his disposal for Saturday’s crunch clash with Norwich City at Craven Cottage (3.07pm).
The striker – who has notched twice in two appearances against the Canaries already this season – was ineligible to feature against Aston Villa last week, but is fit and ready to play on Saturday if selected.
In other team news, Scott Parker began training last week and was in contention to play at Villa Park, but did not make the matchday squad – although our Manager has been pleased with his progress.
“He has come back and he has been very good in training,” Magath said of the midfielder on Thursday. “He will come back this weekend.
“We now have less injuries, and players have come back; Dan Burn is back and Giorgos Karagounis is back.”
Two men who will definitely be absent at the weekend, though, are Kostas Mitroglou and Moussa Dembélé. Mitroglou is still on the injury list, but Magath hopes to have the striker available for the trip to White Hart Lane on Saturday 19th April, while Dembélé has travelled with the Dallas Cup squad.
