Mananga Jonathan Buatu made his international debut for Angola as they defeated Ethiopia 1-0 in a friendly on Sunday.

The Fulham youngster, who had previously represented Belgium from Under-17 to Under-19 level, featured as Angola secured victory thanks to a 16th-minute strike from Freddy.

The match was seen as good preparation for Angola ahead of their upcoming African Nations Cup qualifiers which start in September. Angola are in Group C with Burkina Faso, Gabon and Lesotho.
