Fulham Football Club has today confirmed the signing of Gabor Kiraly on a one-year deal from TSV 1860 Munich.

The 38-year-old Hungary international goalkeeper made 111 appearances for Crystal Palace between 2004 and 2007 following his move to London from Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin.

Following loan spells at West Ham United and Aston Villa, he left Selhurst Park and signed for Burnley in 2007. He returned to Germany in 2009 when he signed for 1860 Munich.

Since making his international debut against Austria in 1998, he has amassed 90 caps for his country. In a senior career which started in 1993, the experienced stopper has played 753 professional games.

Fulham Manager Felix Magath said: “I’m pleased that Gabor joins us today. He is a goalkeeper with vast experience of playing at the top level in England and Germany.

“He will be an important addition to our squad for this current season and he will also be able to assist our two young goalkeepers with their continued development and progression in our First Team.”

Speaking from our Motspur Park Training Ground, Kiraly told the official website: “I’m very happy to be here. Fulham is a great club and I’ll always give my best.”
