Jack Grimmer’s loan spell at Port Vale has been extended until the end of the season.
The defender has featured five times so far for Micky Adams’ side, and scored the game’s only goal as Vale defeated Oldham Athletic on his home debut.
“I have got plenty of game time since I came here,” Grimmer told Vale’s official website. “But it is not just the game time that has been beneficial to me, it is being around the players that I am with and the manager himself.
“Everything that they tell you is always going to improve your game, it is never going to set you back in any way. Playing in the games and getting a good run under my belt is what I came here to do and I am thankful that the manager has given me the chance.”
