Fulham defender Jack Grimmer has joined Sky Bet League One outfit Port Vale on loan until Saturday 8th February.
A natural leader, Grimmer has captained Fulham Under-21s on numerous occasions and his consistent form saw him named on the First Team bench for our FA Cup with Budweiser clash at Blackpool last season.
Vale – who are managed by former Fulham boss Micky Adams – currently occupy eighth spot in League One, just two points off the Play-Off places, and Grimmer will go straight into the squad for their clash against leaders Brentford on Saturday where he could come up against fellow Whites loanee Marcello Trotta.
Adams told Port Vale’s website that he was pleased to bring the Scotsman to the club: “He's a player we've watched on numerous occasions and he's well thought of down there, in and around their First Team squad. We're delighted to have him on board.
“We have got no doubts about his ability, I think that he can only get better and we're helping him to develop his career and we hope he does well.”
