Ross McCormack is the comprehensive winner of the November Coral Goal of the Month competition, with his stunning free-kick against Preston North End taking 60.3 per cent of all votes cast.
The Whites trailed in the game after a below-par first half, but while they were much improved after the break an equaliser proved elusive as Preston defended doggedly in their numbers.
It was going to take something special to bring Fulham level, and that’s just what McCormack’s 77th-minute set-piece was. The angle was against him but his execution was spot on as he got his strike up and over the wall and into the postage stamp of the goal.
It was a comfortable winner in the end, with Dennis Adeniran the closest challenger after he secured 18.2 per cent of the votes for his swerving long ranger that completed his hat-trick for our Under-18s in a 5-3 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
