Andrew Lonergan was named Man of the Match for his performance in the 2-2 draw with Brentford at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
It was a fairly even game between the West London rivals, but Lonergan was the busier of the two goalkeepers, making four saves to opposite number David Button’s two. The pick of them came on the hour mark as he got down brilliantly to keep out Lasse Vibe’s strike.
The 32-year-old was a comfortable winner of the accolade upon his return to First Team action, taking 52 per cent of the votes. Scorer of the second goal Moussa Dembélé came second with 26.2, while Luke Garbutt ended up with 21.8.
