Alexander Kačaniklić insists the Whites must treat the Rotherham United game like a fresh start, and cannot suffer a festive hangover from the Boxing Day defeat at Derby County.

Speaking in the aftermath of the 2-0 reverse at the iPro Stadium, Kačaniklić is well aware Fulham need to improve on the display against the Sky Bet Championship leaders and must treat the Whites' final game of 2015 as a chance to turn over a new leaf.

“There's no excuses, we just need to get points,” Kačaniklić told #FFCRadio. “We need to play well at home and we need to fans to be with us like they always are.

“We just have to forget about [the Derby game]. We cannot feel sorry for ourselves. We are at the wrong end of the table and we need to get points, especially on Tuesday, which is going to be a big game for us.”

Listen to the full interview with Alexander Kačaniklić on #FFCRadio as we build up to the Whites' Craven Cottage encounter with Rotherham United from 7.15pm. You can tune in on the Match Centre or the official Fulham FC App.
