The votes have been counted and we can reveal the winner of September's Goal of the Month award, brought to you by Coral, is Ross McCormack for the first of his two goals in the 4-0 whitewash of Queens Park Rangers.
As smart as McCormack's finish was, the 13 passes which preceded the crisp shot went a long way towards crowning the strike as our best effort from the month of September, with 44.2% of the overall vote.
Eight Fulham players were involved in the free-flowing move, which went from left to right and back to front, before Tom Cairney's impeccable slide-rule pass assisted McCormack's effort and put the Whites three goals to the good.
Ben Pringle’s goal in the same game was the runner-up with 23.1% of the votes cast and Jamie O’Hara’s long-ranger against Sheffield Wednesday was third with 12.4% of all votes.
