For the fourth time this season, a Ross McCormack strike has been voted Goal of the Month by the Fulham faithful.
His opener against Bristol City was the most dominant winner of the award so far, with 69.5 per cent of fans deeming it the best goal scored in March. Young Aron Davies' bicycle-kick in the Dallas Cup was its closest challenger with 19.4 per cent.
For the goal against the Robins, Michael Madl sent a long ball down the right which McCormack took into the area with one touch. A split-second glance to his left told him that goalkeeper Richard O’Donnell was a couple of yards off his line, although it would still take something special to beat him as he had his angles covered.
Yet McCormack executed a strike of pure beauty as he clipped a perfectly weighted chip shot over O’Donnell. Time seemed to slow down as it hung in the air before dropping into the far corner.
Have a watch of the sumptuous goal below, and just pretend that the rest of the match never happened…
