Scott Malone has won his first Fulham Man of the Match award, after putting in a hugely influential display against Middlesbrough.
The left-back was an attacking threat throughout the 120 minutes of our EFL Cup victory, and had a big hand in each of our goals in the 2-1 win.
Firstly, it was his shot which was looping into the net for the equaliser, and even though it eventually went down as an own goal, his role in bringing the Whites level was crucial.
And in extra-time Malone fizzed a dangerous low ball across the face following good work by Luca de la Torre, presenting Lasse Vigen Christensen with a simple finish from close range.
There were plenty of other impressive moments for the 25-year-old, too, such as his lovely drag back and flick to tee up Jozabed in front of the Hammersmith End, and his wicked cross that was so nearly converted by Matt Smith in extra-time.
31.7 per cent of fans deemed Malone to be the best player on the pitch on Wednesday, with matchwinner Christensen in second place with a quarter of the votes cast.
