Andrew Lonergan was the overwhelming fans’ choice to win his third Man of the Match award of the season following the 1-0 defeat against Sheffield Wednesday.
The 32-year-old shot-stopper pulled off a myriad of stunning saves in the second half to keep Fulham within touching distance of the Owls.
Lonergan racked up 68% of over 1,500 votes, leaving his fellow nominees Emerson Hyndman (24%) and Alexander Kačaniklić (8%) trailing in his wake.
The Whites number 24 threw himself at Vincent Sasso to stop his close-range drive on 16 minutes with a single fist, before adding three more eye-catching saves in the second half.
Lonergan denied Gary Hooper twice in one-on-one situations, which bookended a spectacular fingertip save to divert Atdhe Nuhiu’s eight-yard hammer strike over the crossbar.
He recorded five saves in total to prevent the visitors from running away with the game, as the Whites fought for a share of the spoils until the final whistle.
