We’re pleased to announce that Fulham has been nominated for Nickelodeon Family Club of the Year at the Football League Awards.
The Whites are up against Doncaster Rovers, Middlesbrough, Millwall, Oxford United and Stevenage for the award, and the winner will be revealed at a gala ceremony on Sunday 17th April in Manchester, the same date on which the Football League was formed back in 1888.
Drew Barrand, Marketing Director of The Football League, said: “The Football League Awards 2016 provides a platform for us to showcase the very best of what The Football League is all about.
“Once again, the standard of entries has gone up so those clubs and individuals included on the shortlists deserve real praise for their achievements. We wish all those nominated the best of luck and look forward to announcing the winners in April at what will be the first ever Football League Awards evening to be held in Manchester.”
With a longstanding reputation as a family club, as London’s Original we pride ourselves on being accessible to all, and able to make every effort to serve all generations of our supporters as well.
In January 2015, Fulham evaluated and enhanced its strategy to attract more young fans and their families to Craven Cottage, as well as broaden engagement with this group.
Leading the strategy for the 2015/16 season was a commitment to making watching football at Craven Cottage more affordable and enjoyable for families, as well as improve facilities and increase overall occupancy in our Family Zone.
To ensure the Club maximised on the opportunity to engage with both existing and new fans, many more family orientated events on matchdays, non-matchdays and key holiday periods were activated.
