Fulham’s final Man of the Match award of the season has gone to Tim Ream, for his outstanding defensive display against Reading.
The Royals only breached the Whites backline courtesy of a contentious penalty, but they threatened a number of late counters, only to be thwarted by Ream time and time again.
Four Fulham players had more touches of the ball than Ream’s 66, but this was still better than Reading’s most productive individual Tiago Ilori, who was involved in 59 ball events.
Ream won possession of the ball four times, which included two tackles, had one shot, and boasted a pass accuracy of 90 per cent.
It is his second Man of the Match award in four outings, with 27.9 per cent of fans giving him their vote, ahead of Marcus Bettinelli (22.4 per cent) who made a number of good saves, and Kevin McDonald (13.8 per cent).
