In their last match before the international period, Preston North End drew 2-2 when they hosted Sunderland at Deepdale. They currently sit sixth in the table, three points and four places above the Whites.
“The (international) break came at a good time for us,” commented North End Manager, Alex Neil. “Some of the lads were flagging a bit but we are looking good and refreshed now.
“They’re a good side, in terms of retention and the way they move the ball, they’re probably the best in the division. We are up for the challenge and we need to go there with confidence that we can win the game.
“We have more than held our own in every game and we will go to Fulham knowing we can put in a performance and try to beat them."
On current injuries at the Club, Neil said, “Gally (Paul Gallagher) has been fine, he is back in training, as is John Welsh.
“Ben (Pearson) has been training this week but we will gauge it at the end of the week as he has been out for six weeks. We don’t want to push it and he end up being out again for another period of time so we will assess him.”
