Tim Ream is ready for a Hull City reaction under the Craven Cottage floodlights on Wednesday evening.
The Tigers were heavily beaten in their previous outing last Friday, as a rampant first half display from Derby County culminated in them running out 5-0 victors at Pride Park.
And while Ream knows that will serve as extra motivation for a side who were playing top flight football last term, he’s backing his Fulham teammates to rise to the challenge.
“You look at any team that’s come down from the Premier League,” he explained, “and they’re going to come with something to prove.
“And obviously on the back of a heavy defeat at Derby their motivation is going to be 10-fold. It’s a challenge that the squad’s really looking forward to.”
The Whites go into the midweek encounter having lost just one league match all season.
And although we have only taken three points on one occasion as well, Ream believes the group has enough in their locker to start stringing some wins together.
“If you look at the end of last year and the run we went on, it was all about momentum,” he stated.
“That’s what the Championship is all about, so if we can get a win against Hull and really kick on from there, then we definitely have the squad to do big things this year, and hopefully get promoted.”
Make sure you're at the Cottage as the Whites host Hull, with tickets priced from £30 for adults and £15 for juniors.
