The Sean Davis Column

Sean Davis knows Burnley will provide a difficult test on Sunday: "Sean Dyche is a good manager and he’ll be concentrating on drilling his ideas into them, not thinking about a lack of days off or anything like that. Burnley didn’t make a load of signings this summer and they don’t have the biggest squad, but it’s too early for that to have an impact. If they do struggle with the fixture congestion, then I think it’s around December that you’ll start to see the negative effects of that. They’re going to be hard to beat so we need to start on the front foot and make it as difficult as possible for them."

Mika: Great Atmosphere

Jean Michaël Seri already loves running out at Craven Cottage, and says the support of the Fulham fans gives him extra motivation: “It was fantastic support at Craven Cottage in our first game. I was expecting this – I knew that here in England fans are passionate about football, they like to get behind their teams. This is the case whatever the situation or result is in games, and that gives us a desire to work hard and to get sweat on our shirts, and this is exactly what I try to do in every game.”

Team news

Alfie Mawson's debut is hopefully just around the corner, but Sunday could come too soon for the centre-back.

Slaviša's Burnley preview

Slaviša Jokanović discusses the importance of Aleksandar Mitrović within the team and all the build-up to this weekend's Burnley game.

Head Coach Presser

Slaviša Jokanović believes Burnley will embrace the engorged schedule that comes from balancing Premier League football with a European campaign: “They cannot complain. They had great success last season. They were a promoted team [in 2014] and then relegated after the first attempt. Then they came back to the Premier League, survived one year, and then this last year had some really great achievements for Burnley. I believe it’s not only one year, they’ve played with confidence for a few years, and in the end they are enjoying this situation playing Sunday, Thursday, Sunday, Thursday.”
