Two goal hero Aboubakar Kamara has comfortably won Man of the Match from our Carabao Cup victory over Exeter City.
Playing on the right of a front three that also featured Rui Fonte and Neeskens Kebano, Kamara – who netted seven goals for Fulham last season – got himself up and running for 2018/19 with two neatly taken finishes.
With less than four minutes played, Cyrus Christie crashed in a left-footed shot that Grecians goalkeeper Christy Pym could only parry back into the mixer, and Kamara was able to get his knee over the ball and send a first time volley into the corner of the net.
He then needed under three minutes to double his and Fulham’s advantage after the restart. Having peeled away from his marker, he latched onto Stefan Johansen’s eye of the needle curling through pass, and poked coolly beyond the onrushing Pym.
The vote was something of a landslide, with 62 per cent of the Whites faithful opting for Kamara. Alfie Mawson enjoyed a strong debut and came second with 8.1 per cent, ahead of Johansen on 6.8.
