Sergio Rico continued his fine form with another Man of the Match award against Leicester City.
The Spaniard has been imperious in goal since making the number one spot his own, and he thwarted the Foxes on numerous occasions at the Cottage on Wednesday evening.
With Fulham having the lion’s share of goal attempts, Rico wasn’t the busiest of the two shot-stoppers, but he was still required to make four saves, each of them impressive in their own right.
In the embryonic stages of the game he stood his ground and made himself big to come out on top of a one-on-one battle with Kelechi Iheanacho, before getting down brilliantly to Wes Morgan’s header later on in the first half.
He wasn’t tested again in terms of having to make a save until stoppage time at the end of the game, but he was equal to quickfire efforts from Demarai Gray and then James Maddison.
More than a third (35.1 per cent) of fans who voted agreed that Rico was our best performer on the night. Calum Chambers is another man in form and came second with 20.1 per cent, with Ryan Sessegnon pipping Aboubakar Kamara to third with 13.9 per cent.
