Fulham’s Under-18s host top of the table Chelsea on Friday evening in the Premier League South in a 6.30pm kick off at Motspur Park.
The Young Whites will face the Blues twice in five days with the FA Youth Cup quarter-final on the horizon on Tuesday night at Craven Cottage.
The two sides met earlier this year at the Chelsea Training Ground, Chelsea put a resounding end to Fulham’s unbeaten start to the season in a 6-1 loss.
Chelsea dominate the top of the table with a six-point lead over Arsenal, and 14 points above the Young Whites.
Fulham are fifth in the table, with a win a draw and a loss in their last three league fixtures. Last time out Fulham drew 1-1 against 10 man Brighton at the Amex Training Centre.
Chelsea’s last league match was a 5-1 win over Swansea City, and since then have progressed in both the FA Youth Cup and the Premier League Cup over Tottenham Hotspur and Everton respectively.
When Head Coach Colin Omogbehin was asked what he was expecting from the opposition on Friday, he replied:
“I’m expecting them to be very good technically and physically, to be difficult to break down and play through and to play on the counter. They can play in a number of different ways.
They will be difficult to score against, if you look at their record they don’t concede often and the and they certainly create a lot."
