Fulham Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of former Captain Scott Parker as First Team Coach.
Scott Parker joins Slaviša Jokanović’s backroom team and returns to Fulham a year after retiring from his playing career at the end of the 2016/17 campaign. He joined Tottenham Hotspur's Academy last summer to coach their Under-18s.
Parker signed for the Whites in August 2013 and went on to make 128 appearances in three seasons. Whilst at Fulham, Parker completed his UEFA badges and coached for the Fulham FC Academy.
Having represented England throughout the age groups from U16 to senior level, and having made almost 500 senior club league appearances, Parker brings a wealth of experience, dedication and enthusiasm to his new role.
Scott Parker said: “I'm delighted to join the Club this week and look forward to working with Slaviša once again, as well as with the rest of the coaching staff and players.
“I would like to thank everyone at Tottenham Hotspur for their support and encouragement at the very start of my coaching career with the Under-18s throughout last season, in particular John McDermott for his guidance and ongoing support. I'm looking forward now to the next step up, coaching the First Team at Fulham.
“I have first-hand knowledge of the quality and ambition at the Club since I was a player here, with tremendous work carried out by staff within the First Team set up and across all Academy age groups.
“I'm looking forward to getting started right away in preparation for the Premier League campaign.”
