Fulham are delighted to announce that the following scholars have signed their first professional contracts with the Club:
Luca Ashby-Hammond, Ben Davis, Sonny Hilton, Jaydn Mundle-Smith, Elias Frei.
Ashby-Hammond joined Fulham as an Under-9 and worked his way through the age categories as a goalkeeper. His older brother Taye, also a goalkeeper, is also part of the Fulham Academy.
Last season he made his Under-23s debut as a 16-year-old, and was called up to England’s National Under-17s team for the European Championships where he was given the number 1 shirt by Steve Cooper.
Davis was the first Singaporean to join the Club's Academy. Last season the midfielder accrued a pass accuracy of over 90% when playing for Colin Omogbehin’s Under-18s side.
He was called up to the Singaporean Senior National Team in 2018, however, is yet to make an appearance.
Hilton joined Fulham from Tranmere Rovers as an Under-16s player. After an impressive 2017/18 campaign, the creative midfielder made his first start for the Under-23s in the final match of the season away at Newcastle.
Mundle-Smith is about to start his fourth season at the Club, he primarily plays centre-half but can also operate at left back. Last season he made his debut for the Under-23s.
Frei joined Fulham last season from St Gallen in Switzerland. He is the brother of Fulham Academy product Kerim Frei, and operates in a similar position on the right hand side.
