Ivan Cavaleiro has rounded off a fine few days with the Man of the Match award from our victory over Millwall.
After winning us the game in Huddersfield on Friday, Cavaleiro was at it again on Wednesday night, taking his tally to three goals in two outings with a brilliantly taken brace at the Cottage.

His first was cut from the same cloth as his strike at the John Smith’s Stadium, although this time he added power to the placement as he cut in from the left and lashed a ferocious effort beyond goalkeeper Bartosz Bialkowski.
Cavaleiro then turned provider as he delivered the 26th pass of a fabulous team move when he dinked a low cross in to Anthony Knockaert who stooped to nod in his first for the Club.
The Portuguese then rounded the evening off with goal number four when his run in behind was spotted by Tom Cairney, and after bringing down his captain’s exquisite pass, he rounded Bialkowski and slotted home in front of a jubilant Hammersmith End.
Cavaleiro won the vote at something of a canter with 69.3 per cent in his favour. Fellow scorer Knockaert came second with 12.2 per cent, ahead of the ever composed Steven Sessegnon on 5.7.
