In the main, it was another productive week for our loanees, as the majority endured another gruelling week of fixtures to endure.

Stefan Johansen claimed an assist for Kyle Edwards’ goal which secured another vital victory for the Baggies against Brentford. The goal keeps the manager-less side in with a shout of automatic promotion. 

Marek Rodák was narrowly beaten by Championship league leaders Norwich. Midfielder Semi Ajayi continued his fine scoring form, but The Canaries secured a win to move further ahead of Leeds into top spot.

Jón Dagur Thorsteinsson was close to picking up a point for Vendsyssel, but Nordsjaelland took all three points in the final five minutes.

Rui Fonte came on in the second half to try and force the issue against Monaco, but it was in-vain, as the visitors scored in stoppage time to boost their Ligue 1 survival hopes. Lille remain second to PSG in the French top tier.

Aron Davies put in a spirited performance against Conference high-fliers Wrexham. The centre half couldn’t keep out the Welsh side, but limited them to scoring once. Similarly, Rob Atkinson was at the heart of Braintree’s defence as they also lost by one goal to second placed Solihull Moors.
