We go all the way back to September 11th 2002 for the next match in our Relived series.
Glenn Hoddle’s Tottenham Hotspur had 10 points from their first four outings, and arrived at Loftus Road knowing another victory would send them top of the league.
They looked on course for a routine victory after goals from the late Dean Richards and Teddy Sheringham had them 2-0 up at half-time, but Fulham slaughtered them after the break.
It was our 12th game of the season thanks to our Intertoto Cup exploits which had begun at the start of July, and our hero from the final – Junichi Inamoto – halved the deficit midway through the second half.
Substitute Steed Malbranque then restored parity late on from the penalty spot after boyhood Spurs fan Barry Hayles was fouled, before Sylvain Legwinski popped up in the fifth minute of stoppage time to complete a remarkable turnaround.
We will be showing the match in its entirety, as well as providing real time updates on Twitter, from 8pm next Wednesday (22nd April).
