As has become the norm of late, Michael Hector has been voted Man of the Match by the Fulham fans.
It’s now four of the last five fixtures which have seen the big centre-back take the accolade, with 44.7 per cent of fans deeming him to be our top performer away to Millwall.
Calm in possession throughout, Hector always looked to start attacks when he could with his array of passing, with no player delivering more balls in the opposition half than his 43.
He also had more touches than anyone else on the pitch (107) and played more overall passes (98), while only ex-Fulham man Shaun Hutchinson won more than Hector’s six successful aerial duels.
Sky Sports’ commentators were waxing lyrical about his performance, and also gave him their Man of the Match.
The effervescent Josh Onomah came second in the Fulham vote with 19.7 per cent, ahead of Captain Tom Cairney (9 per cent).
