A strong display from the Whites sees them return to London with 3 points and 3 goals.

Fulham beat Norwich City 3-0 at Carrow Road on Wednesday evening. Tyrese Francois opened the scoring early, before Rob Atkinson and Luca de la Torre secured the win in the second half.

Fulham were quick to attack, in the first minute Marlon Fossey slipped Nicolas Santos-Clase down the right wing, the striker pinged a cross through the area for de la Torre but Norwich cleared for a corner.

Fulham controlled possession throughout the match and created all the opening chances.

Six minutes in de la Torre sprinted down the left wing and cut a ball across the box to an unmarked Francois at the back post, the Australian smashed into the back to the net and wheeled away after opening the scoring.

Norwich thought they had responded 10 minutes in through Devonte Aransibia, however, Aron Davies stepped forward to put him in an offside position and the flag was raised as he hit the back of the net.

33 minutes in and Norwich had found their foothold in the game. Tristan Abrahams found some space on the left, from outside the area and curled an effort wide.

Fulham should have been two ahead at halftime, Edun slipped a terrific ball through to Santos-Clase. He was clean through for a one on one with Aston Oxborough, the keeper rushed out but the Spaniard tipped his shot inches wide of the right post.

The Whites started the second half where they had left off, Jayden Harris sent a ball down the right wing for Fossey to chase. He pulled the ball back to de la Torre and a fantastic last ditch tackle from Adam Phillips prevented a probable goal.

Five minutes later the Canaries had an attack of their own, Savvas Mourgos cut in from the right and fired for the bottom left, the shot went close but wide, Luca Ashby-Hammond looked like he had it covered.

de la Torre almost claimed a comical goal but was denied by a good save, sprinting tight to the touchline the Norwich defenders assumed the ball went out of play and stopped dead in their tracks, leaving the America to run through on goal and get a powerful shot away.

Fulham finally created the gap they deserved in the 63rd minute. Harris fizzed a ball wide to Fossey, the wing-back cut a ball across the box but it was cut out by a yellow shirt.

The ball however bobbled up for Atkinson and the centre back struck hard for the left, Oxborough got a hand to the ball but the shot flew in to make it 2-0.

Fulham made it 3-0 with 10 minutes to go, the ball was worked well to Steven Sessegnon high up on the right wing. He slipped a perfectly weighted ball to de la Torre and the American fired into the back of the net to seal the win at Carrow Road.
