Demonstrating an assured reading of play, a bold command of his box and innate capacity for a spectacular save, Fulham have a safe pair of hands in David Stockdale.

Stockdale has had to work his way to the top and has enjoyed a testing, yet rewarding football education. In his time at the Club, he has headed out on loan at Rotherham United, Leicester City, Plymouth Argyle and Ipswich Town.

In November 2012 the Club announced that Stockdale had joined Hull City on loan until January 2013, although he was recalled in December.

In January, though, Stocko did in fact return to the KC Stadium on a temporary deal until the end of the season, helping the Tigers win promotion to the top flight. Now back at Fulham, he spent the 2013/14 season challenging Maarten Stekelenburg for the number one jersey and ended the term between the sticks. In total, he made 25 appearances for the Whites in all competitions and impressed despite's Fulham's relegation.
