The Club announced the signing of Elsad Zverotić from Young Boys on a two-year deal with an option on the final day of the summer 2013 transfer window.

Zverotić, who played more than 250 times in the Swiss Super League while at FC Wil and FC Luzern, had been at Young Boys since 2011.

A versatile player who can fit in anywhere in defence or midfield, Zverotić is also a Montenegro international who made his debut for his country in 2008 and scored the winning goal against Bulgaria in a Euro 2012 qualifier. He played against England in the 2014 World Cup Qualifying campaign and usually adopts a defensive midfield role for his country.

The unassuming Zverotić made six league appearances for Fulham in his debut season in England.
