It is one thing being a talented youngster in a football club Academy, but you are unlikely to succeed in the modern game without an ambitious mentality and hard-working attitude. Luckily for Fulham, young midfielder Solomon Sambou has both attributes in abundance.
The versatile Sambou, who can also play at centre-back, has been at the Club since he was 12.
Nicknamed 'the Enforcer' within the Academy, Sambou is an expert at breaking up opposition attacks and has impressed many with his work rate and footballing intellect.
A key performer for Fulham Under-18s in 2013/14, he scored in the second leg of the FA Youth Cup Final as the young Whites slipped to a 7-6 aggregate defeat at Chelsea, while he also won Under-18 Goal of the Season at the Premier League conference for his strike against Tottenham Hotspur.
