Alberto Escobar is now working alongside Slaviša Jokanović for a third time.
After a football career that saw him play as high as Spain’s Second Division ‘B’, Escobar now has more than 15 years’ experience in off-the-field roles, the first of which was assistant coach with Alicante Club de Futbol.
Around 2010, Escobar took on more analytical roles, combining coaching with analysis and scouting.
He worked alongside Jokanović and First Team Assistant Head Coach Javier Pereira at Watford and Maccabi Tel Aviv, as well as at Valladolid and Levante with Pereira, and at Fulham he aids the pair on the training pitch, as well as working with the team of analysts already in place at the Club.
With them he assesses our upcoming opposition and creates videos for the squad and management to scrutinise as part of their match preparations.
