Having scored freely for the Club’s Under-18s and Development Squad, Marcello Trotta is now hoping to make an impact for the Fulham First Team.
The Italian striker has consistently turned heads since his arrival in the summer of 2009 and as a result stands out as one of the Club’s brightest young talents. Imposing, skilful and ruthless in front of goal, underneath the languid gait lays a dedicated and determined young man.
He made his professional breakthrough last season, enjoying a successful loan spell at League One club Wycombe Wanderers where he scored eight goals in eight appearances before making his Fulham debut in the Club’s FA Cup Fourth Round defeat at Everton.
Having spent time at both Napoli and Manchester City in his early teens, it is at Craven Cottage where Trotta is hoping to make his biggest impression.
On 22nd November 2012, Trotta joined Brentford on loan until 13 January 2013 - a deal which was later extended until the end of the season.
