Cornelis Jol

Football Operations Manager

Dutchman Cornelis Jol joined Fulham in June 2011 to take up the position of Football Operations Manager.

After a 20-year playing career in his native country with Quick, HBS, HVV and ADO Den Haag, Jol moved into club management in 1988. From 1989 until 1996 he worked alongside brother Martin Jol at several clubs in the Dutch Topklasse as Assistant Manager.

His managerial career started at Den Haag, before he worked in the top flight at SVV Scheveningen. He also spent time at Rijnsburgse Boys and Haaglandia in League One, as well as 12 years working for the KNVB (Dutch Football Association) as a Development Coach.

In June 2008 Cornelis reunited with Martin at Hamburger SV in the Bundesliga, before following his younger sibling to Ajax Amsterdam and Fulham.

A popular character around Fulham's Motspur Park Training Ground, Cornelis shares many of his brother's football philosophies. He also works closely with the Club’s Head of Scouting, Barry Simmonds, Cornelis has a clear eye for spotting talent.
