By his own admission Daniel O’Reilly has a lot to learn, yet the Republic of Ireland youth international impressed in his debut season for the Academy.
With his effortless use of the ball and assured reading of play, the young defender is one of those players that make the game look easy. While he may not be the most physically imposing of centre-backs, the player makes sure he stays one step ahead of his opponent as a result of his natural ability.
A player that follows instructions to the letter and one that reacts quickly to rectify mistakes, O’Reilly is also a natural leader. A captain of his national team at Under-15 and Under-16 level, the Club hope he can extend his impact beyond youth football.
